Body Oil Stains Clothes
Body oil stains clothes when too much product sits on the skin before dressing. Apply less, seal only dry areas, and give it time to absorb.

The fix
- apply lotion first if skin needs moisture
- use only a few drops of body oil over dry areas
- wait several minutes before dressing
- blot excess oil with a towel if skin still looks wet
If it’s still not right
- Save body oil for nighttime if daytime clothing keeps staining.
- Use less product on areas covered by tight waistbands or sleeves.
Prevent it next time
- Apply oil to damp skin so it spreads farther.
- Let skin dry down before putting on delicate fabrics.
Notes
Why this works
Oil transfers when there is more on the surface than the skin can hold. Tight clothing presses that layer into fabric.
Using lotion for hydration and oil only as a thin seal gives skin comfort without leaving a wet finish.
