Shaving Cut Will Not Stop Bleeding

- rinse the cut with cool water so you can see where it is bleeding
- press clean tissue or gauze on the nick for one full minute without checking
- use a styptic pencil only on a tiny nick if pressure is not enough
- once bleeding stops, apply a thin layer of plain ointment instead of alcohol aftershave
